What is the difference between headlights with and without lenses?
The difference between headlights with and without lenses is mainly reflected in the focusing effect and lighting effect of the beam. 1. Beam focusing effect: The headlight has a lens design to better control the distribution and focusing effect of light. The lens allows the light to pass through to form a more concentrated and focused beam, making the visibility higher when driving at night. In contrast, the light distribution of headlights without lenses is more scattered, and it is not easy to form a clear beam focusing effect. 2. Lighting effect: The design of the lens can make more effective use of light and improve the lighting effect. The lens can reduce the scattering and extinction of light, so that the light is focused on the area that needs to be illuminated, providing a brighter and more uniform lighting effect. In contrast, headlights without lenses scatter more light, which may cause uneven lighting range, blocking or loss of light. In general, the lensed headlights improve visibility and lighting effects by focusing light, making night driving safer and more comfortable. Headlights without lenses have relatively poor lighting effects, which may cause blurred vision and uneven lighting.
The difference between headlights with and without lenses is mainly reflected in the following aspects:
Illumination distance: The headlights with lenses can refract the light farther. At the same time, the lens headlights will adjust the light distance according to the ups and downs of the car to make the illumination range wider. In contrast, headlamps without lenses have relatively short illumination distances.
Condensing type: After installing a lens, the headlight has a better condensing type and the light is brighter. Headlights without a lens may have a relatively poor focusing effect.
Power: After the lens is installed, the power of the bulb is small, which is good for the line. A headlamp without a lens may require a more powerful bulb to achieve the same lighting effect.
Astigmatism problem: In car lights, the light shape of the lens lamp holder is standard, and there can be obvious light and dark cutting lines, which solves the problem of astigmatism. Headlights without lenses may have astigmatism problems.
